16. Get a tattoo
I got a semicolon tattoo on 9/8/19. I went to the tattoo shop down the street from me they had a special this weekend on semicolon tattoo for mental health and suicide prevention they are donating most of the $60 that I paid for this tattoo to a nonprofit. The assistant who took the money and did the drawing for the tattoo was interesting he has been in and out of prison and is a convicted felon. He was the 1st person I had met who had a Nazi swastika tattoo on his body this guy kind of freaked me out, but we managed to get along OK, I let him do most of the talking. I think its kind of a scared straight program for someone who would not want to get another tattoo going forward.
"The semicolon tattoo is metaphorical for when an author took a pause instead of ending the sentence. It represents mental health struggles and how important it is to bring awareness to suicide."

The guy who was the tattoo artist and owner of the shop. He had worked in telecom back in the 1990's we got a long good we knew a lot of the same people and were able to talk about that and how messed up that company had been that we both worked at. He was there when they had their 1st few bankruptcy's I got hired at that business after it got sold off from the original group and became its own thing. the main thing that company wanted was money. Money to take from the customer and money to short and take away from the workers paychecks. In the end most of the money ended up in managements hands so they could miss mange it and piss all that money away on pay and benefits for themselves and their half assed half thought out ideas.
I am glad I got this tattoo and so far its OK. I am not sure I will get another tattoo do I really want to spend all that money on something like this. I am OK with $60 one and done but I've known people who gotten a sleeve of tattoos done and I think most tattoos that can not be covered by a shirt or something invite judgment and I am just not sure I would want those looks nor would I want to spend that kind of money.
It was interesting to see what is near by where I live their is city hall the library the post office. Then a few restaurant and bars some chains and some local. then their is a sex shop and tattoo parlor. The guys at the tattoo parlor said that this part of town is the arm pit dumpy part of town. With Fowler stores and Dollar stores and grocery shops an bike trails. I would say for the cost of living and all the affordable local options to do things its a good place to be plus this was my home suburb.
