9. Draft and get notarized a living will POA etc...

I am glad that I got this filled out and taken care of with my lawyer I think its good to have something like this done. The Will is mostly for Real Estate and personal property as well as medical and financial power of attorney paperwork or POA. I have updated beneficiaries for 401k IRA and bank accounts since those are more cut and dry.

For services A Celebration of Life along with a Masonic Service at a Community Center or  Masonic hall etc..

What to do with the body???

Iowa Donor Network Link for organ donation I would have Deeded my body to science (goal #54 and did a post on why that wont work.
I want to be cremated and buried in township burial plot next to parents.

What I plan to do with stuff when I pass.
I plan to donate almost everything I have to nonprofits I am not working to enrich nonprofits but I don't want kids and don't planning on leaving much to extended family.

family gets
What they would want from Duplex.
Father Johns paintings
Grandpa kitchen table
additional things that are of family interest like photos etc...

Where to donate things

Grand Lodge of Iowa
My nonfiction books and my Masonic Bible.
I will give my books here expect for most fiction and Bibles.
That building houses a four floor library, several museums, special exhibits, the administrative offices of the Grand Lodge of Iowa A.F. & A.M. and the Linn County Genealogy Society.

Mindbridge Foundation
They gets my board and video games along with Sci-Fi books. This groups runs many Sci-Fi Anime conventions in the area and would get the highest and best use out of that stuff.
https://mindbridge.org/projects/game-library/

The above two places I would really like it if my stuff ended up there. The next list is where I think things should go but some may end up at the dump or Salvation army.

Tools and other house hold things habit for humanity

Any sort of medical stuff I have that can be reused such as a Cpap etc I would like it to go to this place.

Any food that could be donated give it to the  http://www.greensquaremeals.org/home.html
When I have tenants move out or have food that I want to get rid of this is the place that I take it to.

All things that no one picks from above or don't go to a special place will be donated to the salvation army. My Bibles would go to the Salvation Army since they give those books away for free.

I dig the above video and found his perspectives interesting.

I found this website https://www.freewill.com/ to be interesting it looks legitimate and it allows someone to create their own will and power of attorney for free.

I will work on a list of places  I would like to donate money too but I feel that its better to donate while alive vs when dead.
