Nondegree Application for Admission

Where I am at in life I just want to take a few classes that will enrich my life I don't plan on graduating. I mean why jump thru the hoops why deal with it when I already got a good gig. A buddy of mine before I dropped the above class told me he thought I should just buy a greater courses class and just have fun with it. I enjoy watching PBS and educational YouTube videos so until coivd is over that is what I will do.

Here is the intro I wrote for when I had to do class introductions

I'm a lifelong learner. I've always been curious,  I enjoy reading, researching and writing.

I was born in Iowa and live in the state still. I owner occupy a small rental duplex. So I have experience and knowledge with property management.

I graduated from Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids Iowa. With an associate of applied science degree in marketing management.

I work a full time job at a unionized utility cooperative that is member-owned. I've worked in the utility industry since I was a teenager. I've been to some Labor Center events at Iowa before too.

I read about Norma Beecher and how she was truly a lifelong learner,

Growing up I always wanted to be a Hawkeye! The University of Iowa is the dominant intellectual and cultural hub of Eastern Iowa. I've always had a fascination and curiosity about attending the University of Iowa. The day after my 29th birthday I applied and here we are.

Some additional resources for Iowa

I want to take steward training from U of I

If you just want to check out some books and hangout there.
