2.0 57 out of the 101 are done

 101 GOALS IN 1001 DAYS 2.0 last day 

57 out of the 101 are done at least from my quick math here. I'm happy that I'm alive and my parents are alive. The majority of the people in my life are still around and Kicking. I'm going to start another 1001  Days with 101 goals in February 2022. Thank you all for following this journey I'm going to work on doing an audit and assessment on what was accomplished and what wasn't and just where I'm at with all this. 


5. try a new food every month that I haven't eaten before.

I eat a lot of the same food every month I really do need to eat some new stuff but no longer a goal.


7. Go fishing with  Jim C

Just did not get to see Jim and am less interested in fishing than I am in shooting.


8. Go to clear lake or okoboji

Never been maybe I will go sometime in the future but its no longer a goal


12. make a full meal for my family by myself

I have made lunch but I am not sure I would say that is the same as what they are asking for here.


18. Make 3 DIY projects for the home

I have done work and upgrades around the house I have never done a DIY list but maybe I should just never got it done 

19. Organize all files on computer and in filing cabinet

I use Google Docs for most of important stuff Google Photos for Pics YouTube for creating and viewing videos Google is my life! I can keyword search but never organized.

 

20. Eat Vegan for a day

I will eat Vegan here or their but I never really planned out my meals real well. 


25. Create and maintain a plan for health

I will work on having a healther life but that is hard work and just something that I was unable to do the last time. 


26. Have a no spend month.*

I know how to cut my spending but I have not done a no spend month I think I could if I just ate oatmeal and MREs etc... 


27. See a live play at a community theater Covid happended and on my new list 


1. Visit all Midwest presidential libraries with Karen within 500 miles

I went to 2 of the Libraries one was Herbert Hoover the other was Abe Lincoh both were fun but did not knock out the 500 miles goal but will keep working on this. 


32. Create a complete home inventory list

I have a better idea of where stuff is at now then I have in a number of years but I still have a long way to go to get a complete list :) 


33. Identify and simplify 10 things that stress me out

This really should have been something that I did complete I have a much better idea of what sets me in that it was definitely a work environment that I was in I don't like traveling we're driving much in the winter when it's icy and snowing out. I just try to find more positiveness in a lot of negative aspects.. I'm trying to chill out a lot more on a lot of different things 


34. Identify and fix 10 daily/weekly annoyances


I've been working on this to just haven't hit the number of 10 I can't I think both of these ghosts 33 + 34 really involve some consciousness and thoughtfulness end if I'm doing something that's just annoying or stressful why would I keep doing this again and what are some ways that I can avoid that so I feel like I have better coping systems with it but I haven't formally completed it.



37. Hang a mistletoe on my door

Dont want to get MeeTOO'd 


38. Buy the person’s coffee behind me in the Starbucks line.

I would have done this but then COVID hit and never really did this.


39. Mail someone a surprise package

Just never got around too it I had some ideas on what to do and how I would do it but it just never happened 


40. Get set up on a blind date (not an app meetup)

I have met some more people in my life but havent really been on a date in years just never really wanted to deal with it. 


41. Take a cooking class

I will do this on my 3.0 list 


42. Learn the 3rd section of the 1st degree

Did not get a lot done Masonic wise just stayed an officer at the lodge. 


44. Set a five to ten-year “plan” (work goals, financial goals, etc.

I have a lot of ideas but I am happy where I am at money wise and fairly flexible on what I will be doing and going next. 


45. Learn at least one useful handyman skill

This one is something that I really should have picked up on more I am not that handy with tools out side of tech tools so more could have been done here.


48. Get 100 subscribers on my Youtube Channel 

I have 30 subrsubers as of 1-17-22 when my days were up I am keeping this as a goal for 3.0. 


49. See family in Ames

I am going to go to Ames again hopefully this spring or Summer. 


51. Erect a hammock

I really dont care about hammock this was a stupid goal.


57. Go to LA to see Nancy

on my 3.0 list just did not get out there to see her.


63. paint something new on blank canvas

I want to Bob Ross it up this is on my 3.0 list now



64. Get a big old truck I may just share one with dad. 

I did not get a truck will see if this ever happens dont care much either way. 


66. Get a scholarship fund started for AAS @CC for HS student  

Dont know if giving more money to schools really fixes anything or helps anyone got to think about this.


68. Improve my speaking skills by going back to toastmasters

I have this on my 3.0 list I think its something worth getting back into.


72. Create a bathroom in the basement I do Not think I will do this.

This may or may not happen no rush kind of liked the idea but may take up more space than worth.


75. See a movie at a Drive-In Theater

This is on 3.0 list


77. Go on a boat

When I take the Mississippi boat I will knock this out so no longer a goal


79. Treat myself to a full spa day… Massage, facial, the works

DId not happen may not ever happen


82. Splurge on a once-in-a-lifetime meal at one of the world’s best restaurants.

I am going to refine this on my 3.0 goals.


84. Go to IKEA

Still on my 3.0 list of places to go.


86. Limit time spent on non productive stuff

How would I even measure this???


89. Get fidelity 2% credit card


kept having trouble with their website was not worth it at this time.


91. Ride in or crew for a hot air balloon

don't care that much about this any more...


92. Take a boat ride down the Mississippi at least part of it

Is on my 3.0 list 


97. Get an oral history project going Kind of

I have done some of this but mostly with family and nothing formal 


99. Post at least 1 new post to this websites each week before the time is up. I get to it when I get to it ;)

yeah its been really off and on


101. Eat at least one size of veggies a day

need to eat better.
