50 questions to free your mind

  1. How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you are?

 Real ages when it comes to maturity levels....

I'm probably a wise old man, at least to some extent. I've spent a lot of time around old people and I try to pick up and learn a lot of things from them. I actually have a respect for elders which I know a lot of people don't, but I feel like you can learn a lot from what someone went through in life, even if some of the information they say is no longer relevant to what today is like

  1. Which is worse, failing or never trying?

Never Trying… if you dont try you would never know 

  1. If life is so short, why do we do so many things we don’t like and like so many things we don’t do?

I think it's cultural expectations you know family expectations what people expect you to do you want to fit in and assimilate but if it's something that's not going to bring you much joy or benefit you or really benefit many other people it's just what you were taught or thought to do why do it we do have limited time let's make the most of it

  1. When it’s all said and done, will you have said more than you’ve done?

This is a tough question I would like to have done more than I have talked cuz talk is cheap and actions are more meaningful than just saying something so I deal we had like to reflect and say I did XYZ etc etc and got these things done instead of just living in the wonderful world of ideas and ideas


  1. What is the one thing you’d most like to change about the world?

I would like to create more opportunities for life enrichment, better quality of life and just more overall happiness and empowerment of the individual

  1. If happiness was the national currency, what kind of work would make you rich

Helping others I feel like helping other people enriching their lives making their life better than what it had been before would be all beneficial for this and would be one of the reasons I would see that as a happiness currency I always like to see people have better lives than what they had before they met me

  1. Are you doing what you believe in, or are you settling for what you are doing?

 I with my values I feel that if you are not doing that I'm not going to settle I'm going to strive this is my one wife my one opportunity to make the most out of it and to try to plank at a better place

  1. If the average human life span was 40 years, how would you live your life differently?

 yes I would I'm almost 35 years old and my mother passed away at 69 I feel like my Midwife could be 35 years you never know how many tomorrows you will have so you want to make the most out of today I think it's good to plan for the long-term and I feel like how I've optimized my IRA 401K Investments and just overall income and wealth would set me up well in the future but you have to savor your today's you never know how many tomorrows you'll get

  1. To what degree have you actually controlled the course your life has taken?

 I think I have a fair amount of control over my wife I would say that comes to the environment I grew up and I grew up in a very loving nurturing environment at least from my mother it was a solid upper middle class background it was fairly secular intellectual with a lot of curiosity kindness and growth I was always encouraged to try new things explore new things see ideas as toys to play with to understand to get comfortable with. I have a lot of Telecommunications I knew that at a young age I was always encouraged to play around with different technology to utilize them I got my first job in telecommunications and I was a teenager and continue down that career until my 30s.

  1. Are you more worried about doing things right, or doing the right things?

 I would say doing the right thing I feel like to treat people right to do things right is good that even if you mess something up you can mostly fix things repair I'm improve them and learn and have good intentions is better than having bad ones

  1. You’re having lunch with three people you respect and admire.  They all start criticizing a close friend of yours, not knowing she is your friend.  The criticism is distasteful and unjustified.  What do you do?

I would like to point out the positives within the person I don't want to just piss on them I would be willing to hear out why they feel the way they do and what makes these people feel that way if I feel a different way towards that person

  1. If you could offer a newborn child only one piece of advice, what would it be?

 Savoir  everyday

  1. Would you break the law to save a loved one?

 probably not it would really depend on the law and the loved one and all that I think it's really a case-by-case basis what we have never been in a position like this

  1. Have you ever seen insanity where you later saw creativity?

I tend to see things logically and rationally Etc so I have an appreciation for some artist but I feel like so many of them have kind of an emotional insanity and makes them really unstable and difficult to be around sometimes but I would say maybe with the above

  1. What’s something you know you do differently than most people?

 how I reflect and think about things how my perspective is it's quite a bit different than a lot of people's I'm also fairly vocal about that I don't assimilate the most with the status quo and have some issues with authority

  1. How come the things that make you happy don’t make everyone happy?

I think everyone has unique taste and feelings and stuff like that a lot of things that actually bring me joy and that I like to do it wouldn't surprise me if half that stuff would be boring for a lot of people and they would have no interest in I feel like people's taste really very a lot person by person

  1. What one thing have you not done that you really want to do?  What’s holding you back?

 Accepting myself being more supportive of myself and others

  1. Are you holding onto something you need to let go of?

Yeah I've been working with a therapist for over 5 years but I think I have a lot of emotional and other things that I just kind of hold on to and should let go

  1. If you had to move to a state or country besides the one you currently live in, where would you move and why?

 somewhere that had nice weather and they spoke English probably a tropical place I don't have a specific place in mind but I think a nice nice place near the ocean that was affordable you know maybe the Philippines or somewhere else I'm not sure but I'd rather just stay in the US and stay in Iowa 

  1. Do you push the elevator button more than once?  Do you really believe it makes the elevator faster?

Very seldom what I push that button is these are regulated machines by the state you can see what the floor is by minute speed is a lot of them range from 54 per minute to 354 per minute it always fascinates me to read about that I don't mind being an elevator but I'm not a huge fan of it

  1. Would you rather be a worried genius or a joyful simpleton?

 I would rather be be joyful genius :-) worry hate fear all those things just drain our energy a lot of things are outside of our control and we just have to adapt with what's going on

  1. Why are you, you?

 I think a lot of it is the environment I grew up in I grew up in an upper middle class Suburban environment with a stay-at-home mother who had obsessive compulsive compassion disorder and really cared for a lot of people took care of her parents a lot of her family neighbors Community Etc and I feel like I have a lot of those traits too as I took care of my mom during her last five years or so of her life and I try to focus my energy and time into positive things for other people

  1. Have you been the kind of friend you want as a friend?

 I always strive to do this I have a ton of acquaintances of various varieties and I've actually expanded my circle of friends but it's interesting on how it kind of goes in a circle I think the average friendship last may be 7 years and I I feel like I should be a better friend but I think I'm getting better at this and I'm pretty good overall

  1. Which is worse, when a good friend moves away, or losing touch with a good friend who lives right near you?

 I would say when a friend moves away I just lost one of my best friends with the summer of 24 he was the handiest handyman was just a kind caring dude and live next door to me I could walk over to this house and we hung out a lot he helped me with all these things when I had a thing broken in the house or was upset or confused or even some medical stuff was just always kind of there and help take care of me and I tried to help him out a lot too we still talk on the phone but it's just not the same. 

when you lose touch with somebody you can always Reach Out there's a number of people I've lost touch with but I just got tired of being the person to reach out to him and I had other people in my life if they're not interested in me I'm not going to chase him down

  1. What are you most grateful for?

 that I am alive and have the opportunities to be a functional cognitive person

  1. Would you rather lose all of your old memories, or never be able to make new ones?

Both of these sound awful it sounds like a form of Dementia or something like your short-term memory goes or you lose all your long-term memories 

  1. Is is possible to know the truth without challenging it first?

I think with how a lot of people perceive things there's a lot more subjective truth than there was historically I feel like you should challenge everything to some extent don't take anything for face value but then once you have backing logic and reason then accept it and move on

  1. Has your greatest fear ever come true?

Luckily no, I have a lot of fears and a lot of anxiety over the years, but overall I think that we can work ourselves up into a much more nervous upset spot and even when bad things happen a lot of times we're able to overcome them and make something good out of it

  1. Do you remember that time 5 years ago when you were extremely upset?  Does it really matter now?

Yeah I remember a number of times that I got pissed off and I got really upset and I still do but I've been working on getting less upset it's definitely a day by day thing I can be kind of a hot head but no the thing I got really upset about wasn't that big of a deal

  1. What is your happiest childhood memory?  What makes it so special?

 I remember a number of different times that we're good it's a child most of them revolved around my mother like her and I cooking her and I shopping her and I reading together just doing different things along those lines

  1. At what time in your recent past have you felt most passionate and alive? 

I would say right now I'm really happy with where I'm at from a material standpoint with money wealth opportunities Etc I've had a woman in my life lately that's been really life enriching and I haven't really had a woman in my life and almost 10 years so that's been a big change for me. just the opportunities I feel like I could become self-employed and a sustainable reasonable rate and level that I would be free from being beholding to family money to corporate Fat Cats to any other entity besides my own free and Sovereign self in that really creates a lot of freedom creates a lot of passion

  1. If not now, then when?

 I felt like when I got out of high school was another time I had a lot of opportunities in Avenues I could have gone I could have gone to the military could have gone more higher education than my associate's degree could have moved just a lot of different things I feel like things worked out for the best how he did though 

  1. If you haven’t achieved it yet, what do you have to lose?

I feel like I have and I can continue to grow we're never really fully actualized

  1. Have you ever been with someone, said nothing, and walked away feeling like you just had the best conversation ever?

Yes and that's all I  have to say about that 

  1. Why do religions that support love cause so many wars?

I see most religions and such as ethnic tribes that just do battle and have a lot of hate with each other I personally am fairly secular but I like Judo Christian values to some extent I think there was a lot of Western Civilization that was influenced by those not a fan of Islam or a lot of other religious things Buddhism has some positive points though.

  1. Is it possible to know, without a doubt, what is good and what is evil?

 I think so to some extent I mean pain to others is not good abuse to others initiating Force without consent of adults is not a good thing to do

  1. If you just won a million dollars, would you quit your job?

Yes But I would still want to do some form of work mainly that being self-employed. Casual income, part-time business thing, rental properties, etc

  1. Would you rather have less work to do, or more work you actually enjoy doing?

I kind of would like both I would like to do what I really want to do but do it on my terms and do it part-time not 40 hours

  1. Do you feel like you’ve lived this day a hundred times before?

 yes with a lot of traditional jobs that I've had every day feels like a week work day and it feels like I've been doing the same stuff day in and day out with marginal change

  1. When was the last time you marched into the dark with only the soft glow of an idea you strongly believed in?

I don't know the exact time but I know I've done this before I've always just kind of winged it with ideas and things to just try to give it a shot try to understand it try to see what I could do 

  1. If you knew that everyone you know was going to die tomorrow, who would you visit today?

I would say close family and friends. It's hard to say just one person. I would try to see a number of people and just say okay. I'm given 24 hours. I'm going to spend an hour with each of these people just to leave them with a positive impression or just connect. I feel like there's some people since covid that I should have talked to more or done more stuff with and that didn't happen

  1. Would you be willing to reduce your life expectancy by 10 years to become extremely attractive or famous?

I would rather live longer I feel like those things about attractiveness and fame are kind of vain and to have a decent quality of life and longer time to learn to grow to do all that would be beneficial

  1. What is the difference between being alive and truly living?

Being alive is just being an NPC or some sort of entity that is just passively allowing life to guide them. We're being truly living is being a sentient cognitive being in control of where you want to go in life and what you want to do having a plan, turning that plan into action and savoring the end results

  1. When is it time to stop calculating risk and rewards, and just go ahead and do what you know is right?

I feel like after a while reading researching and studying stuff you'll know where you're at and what you believed should be the right way to move forward with then you'll do that and hopefully it was a right decision

  1. If we learn from our mistakes, why are we always so afraid to make a mistake?

 a lot of people would rather stay in their comfort zone we don't want to fail we don't want to lose we don't want to inflict more suffering on us So people are afraid of what they're not sure the outcome would be when they don't have control and there's a lot of unknown

  1. What would you do differently if you knew nobody would judge you?

I would probably be more emotional. I'm already pretty vocal with where I stand on stuff. People know that I don't. I don't lie about that. I can be more open about certain things and how I feel and where I'd want to be. I am that way with some people but in general I'm not

  1. When was the last time you noticed the sound of your own breathing?

A few times a day I'm a heavy breather so it depends if I'm running up and down or where I'm doing or what's going on but yeah I definitely notice it

  1. What do you love?  Have any of your recent actions openly expressed this love?

I have a lot of loves in my life I've a lot of passions a lot of feelings I don't know if I have that so much towards people but I have it towards ideas and activities and things along those lines and yeah I'm very willing to share my passions and things that I love with other people

  1. In 5 years from now, will you remember what you did yesterday?  What about the day before that?  Or the day before that?

I have an extensive timeline that goes all the way back to 2006 that I try to keep key things that I've done when I've done them Etc and yeah so I should should be good to know a lot of that stuff I can always keyword search it I always like to look back and say oh this is what happened then and I take a lot of pictures and really enjoy documenting things

  1. Decisions are being made right now.  The question is:  Are you making them for yourself, or are you letting others make them for you?

 I feel like I'm in control of my own life to some extent there is other things that are more what other people would say or do or whatever but yeah
